1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using BonsProfs, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Service description

BonsProfs is a platform connecting private tutors with students in Guinea. We facilitate lesson bookings, payments and communication, but we are not responsible for the quality of lessons provided.

3. Registration and account

To use BonsProfs, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old (or have parental consent)
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Not share your account with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Code of conduct

You agree to:

  • Respect other users
  • Not publish offensive, illegal or inappropriate content
  • Not use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
  • Not attempt to bypass security systems
  • Not collect other users' data without authorization
  • Respect intellectual property rights

5. Bookings and payments

5.1 Bookings

  • Bookings are confirmed after payment
  • Times are in Guinea local time (GMT)
  • You must arrive on time for lessons

5.2 Cancellations

  • Free cancellation up to 24h before the lesson
  • Between 24h and 2h: 50% refund
  • Less than 2h: no refund
  • Teachers may apply their own policy

5.3 Commission

  • 15% commission on each booking (free for Premium accounts)
  • Payments are processed securely
  • Refunds take 5-10 business days

6. Teacher obligations

Teachers commit to:

  • Provide accurate information about their qualifications
  • Respect booked lesson times
  • Give at least 24h notice of unavailability
  • Provide quality teaching
  • Respect student confidentiality
  • Not contact students outside the platform to avoid fees

7. Intellectual property

All BonsProfs content (design, logo, text, code) is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute our content without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

BonsProfs is not responsible for:

  • Quality of lessons provided by teachers
  • Technical issues (internet outages, bugs)
  • Data loss or service interruptions
  • Disputes between teachers and students
  • Indirect or consequential damages

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account for violation of these terms, without notice or refund. You may close your account at any time from your settings.

10. Changes

We may modify these terms at any time. Important changes will be notified by email. Your continued use of the platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guinea. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Conakry.
